The Moorland hotel has 18 contemporary bedrooms, from single rooms, right up to family rooms all with en-suite facilities, ensuring a stylish yet comfortable stay with plenty of room to unwind and relax in comfort.

Each room has an individual colour scheme and layout with the following features:

• En-suite bathroom (with shower or bath)
• Tea and fresh coffee-making facilities
• Colour televisions
• Wi-Fi access throughout hotel
• Fluffy towels & complimentary shampoos
• Hair dryers

All room are sold on a Room Only basis. Breakfast can be added at check in. We offer an a la carte breakfast that guests will need to pre-order each evening. A Full English Cooked Breakfast with coffee or tea is £9.50. Please contact the hotel for further information on breakfast.

Reservations and conditions

Reservations are accepted with a deposit equivalent to the first night’ paid via a credit or debit card number. The deposit is equal to the first night’s stay. In the event of a cancellation or amendment made within two days of the intended date of arrival, we reserve the right to levy a cancellation charge (first night’s stay). For non-arrivals booked for more than one night, the charge can be up to the equivalent of two night’s tariff. Please note that in the case of a Group Booking (4 rooms or more) we operate a 14 day cancellation policy.

Dogs and Cats welcome in some rooms by prior arrangement. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the Wotter Room.

The Moorland hotel and Restaurant is a non-smoking establishment. Please note that we have no lift and all rooms are accessible via a wide staircase on either the first or second floor. We have no ground floor rooms.

The standard check out time is 11:00 AM, but in case of late check out then we will have a provision to charge £25.
